What a wonderful weekend. It all started on Friday night when Nana (Sean’s mom) showed up along with Brendan, Ian, Shanna, and Mark (Shanna’s new boyfriend.) On Saturday morning we packed everyone up to go to a local “Egg-stravaganza.” I ran in the 5K and clocked in at 28 minutes and 30 seconds. I was just hoping to do it in under 30 minutes, so I’m pretty happy with the time! After the race the kids had fun visiting different booths and ultimately finding Easter eggs in a large field that were dropped from a helicopter. Pretty cool!
The rest of Saturday was basically spent enjoying General Conference. Oh how I love this time of the year. There is something truly powerful and inspiring that comes from listening to the words of a living prophet. All of the speakers were filled with the Spirit, and I was grateful to feel that same Spirit enter our home. It has given me a renewed energy that I hope will last throughout the next six months.
Easter morning was fun. The girls searched for Easter eggs in the living room. Even Avery got into it! That afternoon, both of the girls crashed, which made for a nice and quiet General Conference Session. We sure do love our babies. Especially when they are sleeping! :)
Here I am crossing the finish line of the local 5K.
Cute Cousins! (We miss Ty, Kaycie, and Kendall.) :(
Anika loved coloring Easter Eggs with Nana.
Avery got some new hair things in her basket. I love her tired eyes in the morning!
This is Anika’s “I GET CANDY IN THE MORNING” dance. Oh boy…
Super cute. The girls are so adorable. I can't wait for holidays with kids, it looks like so much more fun.
