It’s a sad morning in the Mortensen home. Why, you ask? Because Grandma Cordner and Aunt Keri are on an airplane flying back to the empty desert of Arizona. Anika said her goodbyes last night, but she didn’t actually believe that they would be gone by the time she woke up this morning. It took Anika a good hour to finally come to grips with the fact that they are gone. Really gone. Such a hard life.
We’ve had a fabulous week with my mom and sister. Keri was on Spring Break, and I’ve got to say, I’m pretty flattered that she would want to spend it here in Ohio. We did a lot of nothing, and we enjoyed every minute of it. Here are a few pictures of our “adventures.”
We miss you, Grandma and Keri! Thanks for spending the week with us!!!
How fun to have them come visit! Lainey was heartbroken when my family left last week...these poor girls! Such a hard life.
ReplyDeleteIf that made them cry, just you wait until April 18th, because they will be bawling! I miss you tons and can't wait to see your kids, I will probably be crying myself on the 18th as I drive myself back to Rexburg for another semester of school! See you in about 3 weeks!!!! :)
