I’ve received complaints for my lack of blogging. Well, sorry folks. I can say that I will be better, but really, I can’t make any promises. However, I will give a quick update on this past month.
Just a few weeks ago we packed up and drove to Cincinnati to visit Shanna, Mark, Brendan, Ian, and Nana and Grandpa. We had a really fun weekend and wish that we could all get together more often. Some highlights included going out to a fun dinner and checking out the aquarium. Ready for the pictures?…
While at Shanna’s, Avery learned how to play Pac-Man.
On August 19th Sean hit the big 3-0. Yep, that’s right, friends. Sean is thirty years old. YIKES!!! It’s a good thing he has such a young wife to keep him feeling young! :)
For his birthday, I got a babysitter and took him to Dave & Busters. It was pretty fun. We ate a yummy dinner, then pretended that we were kids again and played some old-school arcade games, like skee-ball!
The definite highlight for the month came the day after Sean’s birthday. About a month ago, Sean told me to plan on spending August 20th with him. He wouldn’t tell me what the plan was, but I was happily surprised. He took me to see…
I’m a big fan of Broadway. This musical absolutely blew me away. The talent of the actors and actresses was incredible. The music was magical. Everything about it was perfect. I can’t wait to see it again.
So that’s been our summer. And now the summer is coming to an end! Anika starts preschool on Monday. Yep, preschool! I’m not quite sure where the time has gone. Sean has finals this week, followed by a couple of weeks off. He’s been working very hard. I’m so proud of him. We hope you have all had a great summer! I’ll try and remember to post the first-day-of-school photos on Monday!
Happy Birthday Sean! I can't believe how grown up your girls are getting. I am so jealous that you got to see wicked!!! It is definitely a favorite. Love you and hope to see you all soon!

Looks like so much fun! I also LOVED Wicked....it felt so good to watch such an awesome show and have a night away from the children. Did you love the Ohio Theater? Oh my goodness I had never been there and I thought it was beautiful and just added to the coolness of the show. By the way, nice "arms length" picture. Dave and I actually have a tradition of arms lengths everywhere we go. Fun fun!
ReplyDeleteSuch fun! I can't believe how big the girls are, especially Anika.
