That’s right. Anika is officially three years old. YIKES! I really can’t be old enough to have a three year old, can I? The actual birthday was December 28th, not that she actually understood that. I mean, yes, we sang “Happy Birthday” to her randomly throughout the day, and we said, “YEA! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!” time and time again, but she has been saying that everyday is her birthday for about a month and a half. So really, it wasn’t that much of a different day. However, last Saturday, January 2nd, it was most definitely a ‘different day.’ She had a PRINCESS PARTY! That’s right! We had a tornado of two, three, and four year olds zip through our house for an hour. I’m still trying to recover. Anika had a fabulous time, and it really was a fun way to celebrate her big day. We sure do love the birthday girl!
Yes, I made that cake. And no, I’m never doing it again! My hands are still sore. But she loved it, so I guess it was worth it.
I couldn’t get a good picture of all of the kids together. This was during cake. There were ten little ones all together. SO FUN!
Anika was definitely spoiled in the present department. Her friends and family were all so generous. THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!
I can hardly believe how much she has grown. With the flower in her mouth, she is destined to dance the tango. Great job on the cake, by the way.
ReplyDeleteWow, Angell, that cake is amazing! You're brave to have ten little ones running around...it sounds like fun! I can't believe Anika is three.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to sweet little Anika!
I cannot believe she is 3 already! Her 1st birthday seems like just yesterday!
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job! The party was a hit and you came away with minimal hair loss! Now that is saying something! I love the video! It's a little too cute that Dashle is right behind her with love and support in his eyes as she prepares to give those candles a good breeze. I also love how she kept putting the flower between her teeth! She is an Italian love goddess I think! ;)
ReplyDeleteHAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEET GIRL!! She is getting so big. Looks like she had a fun birthday. Hope Mama is surviving ;) Love you guys!
ReplyDeleteThe partay was awesome! My kids loved it! Thanks so much!! Happy Birthday beautiful Anika we love you!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun, and the cake was great!! The boys watched the video over and over and now Michael wants a pink cake for his birthday. I don't know how that will fit in with a pirate themed party... hopefully he'll forget by February.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday Anika!
No Way!!! i have never created anything that amazing! it looks like every 3 year old little girls dream cake! you are amazing!
