Our Hilarious Girls!

I LOVE being a mother! These little girls keep me laughing. Sean and I giggle in bed every night before falling asleep just thinking about our babies. Anika is in a crazy stage. She literally doesn't have any patience for me or Sean, but when it comes to her baby sister, Anika has TONS of patience! It's unbelievable. They are the cutest little friends. I hope that they will always be friends. We are so blessed. This video has kept us laughing lately. Hope you enjoy!

Living Room Tents...

So what exactly is there to do on a stormy Sunday evening? Make a tent! What else?! That's what we did last Sunday, and it was a big hit, if I do say so myself. It brought back many fond, childhood memories of making GIGANTIC tents out of every sheet and blanket that we owned. It also brought back the not so fond memories of my little brothers destroying those mansions. Darn brothers. Either way, Anika loved it. The only downfall is that we did it just before bed. Hmm...Bedtime is hard enough when there isn't a fun tent in the living room. Next time we decide to be adventurous, it will be in the morning.

My New Year's Resolution...

So many of you may know that it was my New Year's Resolution to start a blog. Well, here it is, May 18th, and this resolution is finally coming to pass. I'm not quite sure what took so long, but it could be worse, I guess!

So first of all...WE MADE IT! We are now officially in Grove City, Ohio, just outside of Columbus. We have been here for a week and two days, and already we LOVE it. The area is beautiful. The ward is fabulous. The people are so friendly. Our first day here, we were invited to two different churches, the Methodist Church and the Church of the Nazarene. It really made us think about what we are doing as missionaries! It was so easy for these people to invite us to their church. We have definitely set some new goals to help further the work of the Lord. I have already had the chance to teach with the elders, which was a great experience. There is so much work to do here. We're excited!

Many of you know that we are building a house. We feel incredibly blessed. The unfortunate downfall of the economy has made it possible for us to purchase a beautiful home in a gorgeous neighborhood. Last week we got together with the builders and finalized all of the finishings. We picked out everything from the color of the house to the countertops of the kitchen. We hope that it all comes together the way we have imagined it! It should be finished in October.

We miss all of our friends in Utah so much! Anika whines for "JACK AND CHAD" every day. It's very sad. Hopefully we can find her some new friends soon! Have a fabulous summer everyone, and please keep in touch!!!
